89.3 K-Rock Rocks World Record Day!
Saturday, April 28
89.3 K-Rock is taking part in a BIG way and we want YOU to be a World Breaker too!
Think about it... haven't you always wanted to put "World Record Holder" on your resume?!
The World Record: Most People Playing Musical Instruments in a Parking Lot at Once
Who Can Take Part: Everyone! All ages are welcome and no musical experience required
When & Where: The 89.3 K-Rock Parking Lot. 8794 Commercial Street, New Minas. Arrive at 9:30 am and be ready to break the record live on 89.3 K-Rock at 9:50 am. Our neighbours at Sushi Fang have kindly offered their parking lot for parking space. You'll be able to access the K-Rock parking lot with a quick walk across the lawn between Sushi Fang and K-Rock. Carpooling a great choice for the event!
What to Bring: Your family, friends, co-workers, and any musical instrument you can play! Guitars, drums, pots & pans, triangle, saxophone, the spoons... ANY instrument! For official criteria, keep reading!
We're Doing Some Good Too: Also bring a donation - every dollar counts! - for Brigadoon Village. All proceeds will be donated to Brigadoon at the Camp Out for Kids in June. We'll have delicious cookies from Milne Court Petro Canada & Gram's Bakery available for a donation to Brigadoon as well. Thank you Milne Court for this great donation!
